Specific details make your search easy to understand
An ad for Karlsruhe doesn’t need to be an application. It should help others compare what they’re looking for with what you have in mind. “I love dancing and am looking for someone nice” doesn’t say much about what you’d do together. Describe an activity you could do together instead of the person you’re looking for. A learning goal like “review the basic steps and connect turns confidently” makes the purpose clear without pretending to have skills you don’t have.
Here’s what a fully completed example text could look like. The times are personal details chosen freely, not local event times:
“Dance partner wanted in Karlsruhe: I’m looking for someone to practise Salsa with. I know the basic step, and I’d like to get more confident at connecting simple turns. I’d like to follow and am looking for someone who wants to lead. I’m planning to practise once a week for about an hour. Tuesdays after 6 pm or Saturdays between 11 am and 2 pm work for me. I can travel around Karlsruhe by public transport for about 30 minutes each way. Please message me via udansa with your experience level, preferred role and a time that works for you. I’m looking for a dance partnership, not a date.”
If you have no dance experience, “I’m starting with no prior experience” is enough. The guide to beginner dance classes in Karlsruhe explains what the basics involve.
