Why creative children's dance is so valuable

Children's dance is much more than just "jumping around to music". It is a playful form of early childhood development in which movement, music and emotion merge together. Stories, games and movement ideas take centre stage here. The children slip into roles, dance like animals or figures and discover body awareness, coordination and community along the way. At the same time, self-confidence is strengthened because every child realises: I can do something. I can show myself. I am unique. Especially at a time when children sit a lot and digital stimuli predominate, dancing creates a healthy, creative balance: with music, joy and lots of movement.
